Where Learning Happens Outside
Farmschool at Lolly & Pop's is a license-exempt preschool program licensed by the State of Missouri, blending Montessori philosophy with real farm life. Children ages 3–5 spend their days learning through hands-on experience — tending animals, planting gardens, exploring with their senses, and building friendships that last a lifetime.
We believe the best classroom has a little mud, a lot of wonder, and always something new to discover. Our curriculum grows with the seasons, meaning no two weeks — and no two years — are ever quite the same.

The Farmschool Approach
Every day at Farmschool is built around the below fundamentals.
God's creation is the backdrop for everything we do; faith guides our decisions, our culture, and our care for every person we serve.
Learning happens outdoors on the farm, where the natural world is both the subject and the teacher.
Direct interaction with farm animals builds empathy, responsibility, and genuine connection with other living beings.
Learning is best when it is hands-on and experiential.
Unstructured time is intentionally designed; play is not filler — it is a time to build social skills, teamwork, and creativity.
Unplanned learning opportunities are embraced, not redirected; we follow curiosity wherever it leads.
We must know our students, and their families, in order to provide the best learning experience possible.
We leverage technology behind the scenes to operate with excellence and free our team to be fully present, while protecting the hands-on, screen-free experience our families choose us for.
Life on the Farm
No two days at Farmschool are identical — that's by design. But children can always count on a warm welcome, a purposeful routine, time with the animals, and a whole lot of laughter. Days include free outdoor play, farm chores, structured learning activities, nature exploration, and seasonal projects that connect children to the natural rhythms of farm life. In general, Farmschool follows the below structure.

Small by Design
Our classes are all kept under 30 children and we maintain a 1:10 student to teacher ratio at a minimum. Every child feels seen, known, and celebrated for exactly who they are.
